GUTENBERG READER
Do you know about the Gutenberg project?
Its purpose is publishing books on the web in a pure, vanilla text format.
You may use my tool to browse more easily Gutenberg text files.
You can load a Gutenberg text file from the menu, and afterwards, the
program will index the book by chapters.
Clickin on the right side will take you to the selected chapter.
You can also add your personal bookmarks, clicking the mouse right button
on the left panel, and save book settings.
You can also change font ...
If Microsoft
Agent is installed, you can make the characters read aloud starting
from the caret.

I admit I believed a lot in this program when I coded it, but I got almost no feedback - seems almost nobody actually uses it. It could be useful to practise English / English literature, and I would have really liked a program like that when I was studying English literature.
Perhaps this program is too unpolished, or Microsoft Agent isn't popular enough yet (It comes with Windows ME though). Maybe I should have packaged it with Microsoft Agent.
So there are no plans now to improve this program.
